Nothing is skimmed quietly. Every fee is shown before anybody pays, and supporters can cover it so the whole gift reaches you.
- The fee is on the page before the card is. A gift shows exactly what it costs to process and exactly what arrives.
- Supporters cover the fee with one tick, and then every cent of their gift lands with you.
- Money goes straight to your own Stripe account. Your organization is the merchant of record, not us.
- Every receipt says what was covered, so your treasurer never has to guess.
A money path you can audit
Every dollar, counted once and traced to the bank.
Fundraising software has lost donations before. kndlng is built so that cannot happen quietly.
- Every payment is matched to Stripe’s own records, charge by charge. The ledger shows what matched and anything that did not.
- Each bank deposit lists exactly which gifts, tickets and bids it carried.
- A missed notification fixes itself. Pending orders are checked against Stripe every hour.
- A declined card is a status you can see, never a silent failure. Nobody is charged twice, and nobody is charged on a count that is not final.
Built for children’s data
Designed around FERPA and COPPA from the first line of code.
A school fundraiser holds names, classrooms and faces. We treat that the way a school would.
- Public pages show a first name and a last initial, and search engines are kept out unless you choose otherwise.
- Photos lose their location and camera data the moment they are uploaded.
- Medical details on permission slips are encrypted and purged after two school years.
- Card numbers never touch kndlng. Payment happens on Stripe’s own page.
- One organization can never see another’s records, by design and by test.
- Any family can ask for everything you hold about them and get it in one download.
